A BILL to amend article ten, chapter forty-seven of the code of
West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as
amended, by adding thereto a new section, designated section
eight, relating to any person, firm or corporation, that owns
two or more gasoline stations, to charge the same price per
gallon of gasoline at each station.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:

That article ten, chapter forty-seven of the code of West
Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, be
amended by adding thereto a new section, designated section eight,
to read as follows:

ARTICLE 10. LIQUID FUELS AND LUBRICATING OILS.
§
47-10-8. Unlawful to sell gasoline at different prices when owning two or more gasoline stations.

It is unlawful for any person, firm or corporation, that owns
two or more gasoline stations, to charge a different price per
gallon of gasoline for the equivalent grade, as the other gasoline
stations owned by the same person, firm or corporation.

NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to require a person, firm
or corporation, that owns two or more gasoline stations, to charge
the same price per gallon of gasoline as the other stations owned
by that person, firm or corporation.
